Annual Congress of the Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases (IMKASID 2021)
The Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases (KASID) is proud to announce that the 4th International Meeting on Intestinal Diseases in conjunction with the Annual Congress of the Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases (IMKASID 2021) will be held in Korea from April 16 to 17, 2021, as a Virtual Congress.
KASID successfully held “The 8th Annual Meeting of the Asian Organization for Crohn’s & Colitis (AOCC 2020)” as our first virtual international congress in December, 2020. We expect IMKASID 2021 in a virtual format will also be a greater and more informative congress thanks to our experience in last year.
Under the theme, “The latest advances in research and practice of intestinal disease,” IMKASID 2021 will be a platform to learn the cutting-edge knowledge on intestinal diseases.
The IMKASID 2021 Organizing Committee is decided to extended to March 5, 2021 and the 60 most outstanding abstracts will be selected for Investigator Awards, Young Researcher Award, and Best Posters.
In addition, we will have international joint symposiums about inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal neoplasm with Japan (JSIBD) and Taiwan (GEST). A joint forum with the Mucosal Immunology Study Group of the Korean Association of Immunologists (MISGKAI) will be also prepared to share basic research and clinical research results. Finally, we will have a session dedicated to discussing insurance policies for inflammatory bowel disease and colonoscopy and research ethics and future of medical journal.
