Description
This program is designed to annually invite three or four promising young gastroenterologists from countries in Asia for three to five-month fellowships at teaching hospitals in Japan. The Japanese Society of Gastroenterology (JSGE) will make the final selection of the three or four fellows from among the applicants recommended by Asian national or regional gastroenterological societies.


Objective
The overall objective is to foster closer cooperation among Asian gastroenterologists while advancing knowledge and skills in gastroenterology by providing training
opportunities in Japan to promising young Asian gastroenterologists.
